The Geek's Raven
[An excerpt, with thanks to Marcus Bales]

Once upon a midnight dreary,
fingers cramped and vision bleary,
System manuals piled high and wasted paper on the floor,
Longing for the warmth of bedsheets,
Still I sat there, doing spreadsheets:
Having reached the bottom line,
I took a floppy from the drawer.
Typing with a steady hand, I then invoked the SAVE command
But got instead a reprimand: it read "Abort, Retry, Ignore".

Some useful reforms to federal law enforcement may come out of the current ICE issues

For all of its history, federal law enforcement has tended to possess near total immunity from oversight and prosecution. This may be about to come to an end, and that may be a good thing. The excesses of ICE, bordering on Nazi levels of abuse and oppression, has shocked the American people into demanding action from Congress, or even protection from state National Guards against violent ICE goons. This has gone so far now, that the Minnesota National Guard has actually been called out to defend innocent Minnesotans from the predations of ICE. Who knows, we might see the Minnesota National Guard moving down ICE agents in the streets, to defend the people of of MInnesota! So, now, as a result, Congress is finally debating serious action to reign in the behavior of federal agents. It may become much easier to press criminal charges against them, and to sue them. They may have much more systematic restrictions put on their activities, and almost certainly will, to some extent.
