What the American Founding Fathers really had in mind.

Americans are still taught that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and other so called "founding fathers" of the United States were superhuman and Saintly beings, with almost Godlike wisdom, knowledge, courage, virtue and personal willpower. This is currently being challenged somewhat, as Donald Trump attempts to go even farther down this road, pretending that no one in the history of planet earth was comparable to them, and that America represents the eternal image of true perfection for all mankind, himself especially. Essentially, Trump has pushed this concept to a reducto ad absurdam, and there is some pushback now. Indeed, for the first time in recent history, we now have credible political candidates in the Democratic Party, arguing for extremely fundamental changes in the nature of US government, such as the elimination of the US Presidency, the US Senate, and the US Supreme Court, all of which are currently leaning towards extreme right wing positions, and led by Donald Trump. But, what did the Americans fighting the American Revolution really have in mind, and why were they revolting, exactly, and against what? The British themselves were actually quite puzzled about this, since, for the most part, successful Americans were doing rather better materially at the time of the American Revolution than they themselves were! This is why the fighting slogan "No taxation without representation" was so disingenuous. The British were being taxed at 25 times the rate of the Americans for their rather limited "representation", this was certainly the last thing that Americans really wanted! So, what did Americans really want? The issue really was, more than anything, British controls over American westward expansion into Indian territories. The Americans wanted unlimited opportunities to steal and exploit Indian lands, while the British, not actually living permanently in America, preferred a somewhat more limited and restricted approach to stealing and exploiting Indian lands. And, I'm afraid this is precisely what the Founding Fathers of the US had in mind, and very little else. All the rest is just window dressing, all the high flown phrases, all the noble conceptions of human liberty and freedom in the US Constitution really mean absolutely nothing whatsoever, they are merely an elaborate dissimulation and rationalization of theft, murder, rape and greed. Actually, only about a third of the American population were even in support of the American revolutionaries, about a third were opposed and supported the British, and about a third didn't really care one way or the other. So, how did the American Revolutionaries manage to win, given they didn't even have majority support in their own population, and the British were the most powerful nation in the world? Well, fact is, without massive and ultimately suicidal support from Louis XVI of France, they wouldn't have stood a chance!
