The Geek's Raven
[An excerpt, with thanks to Marcus Bales]

Once upon a midnight dreary,
fingers cramped and vision bleary,
System manuals piled high and wasted paper on the floor,
Longing for the warmth of bedsheets,
Still I sat there, doing spreadsheets:
Having reached the bottom line,
I took a floppy from the drawer.
Typing with a steady hand, I then invoked the SAVE command
But got instead a reprimand: it read "Abort, Retry, Ignore".

The real nature of Israeli policies to their neighbors in the Middle East

I was thinking in terms of Israeli policies in general in the Middle East, with respect to their neighbors there, and, for some reason the song about women gossiping in Iowa, USA about 1900, from the musical "The Music Man", came to mind. The song is called "pick-a-little, talk-a-little", from its main line and chorus. In terms of the Israelis, the correct paraphrase would I think be as follows: Kill a little, talk a little Kill a little, talk a little Kill, kill, kill, Kill a lot, Talk a little more. Doesn't this sound like a pretty accurate description, in terms of Israeli behavior with respect to their Arab neighbors, in general?
