The most obvious similarity, is that they are all in high profile, publicity sensitive professions. Thus, they must all be skillful at managing people, and public relations, regarding their activities. In general, they cannot readily admit error, because admitting error could get them in very serious trouble — most obviously doctors, who are dealing with life and death issues on a regular, daily basis. Engineers can also get in trouble, if their designs don’t work well, but, in general, this is more likely simply to get them fired, than to get them sued or put in prison. As for scientists, they rarely get into trouble no matter how useless they are, although they may tend to be ignored, or have trouble finding employment, since their work tends to be rather abstract, and without immediate application.
